Talented rapper and founder of Nia Fia, Kaaren “Styles” Terpack, releases a new coloring book titled “Corona Elementary” to teach children how to cope with the new ways of operating as schools resume
Kaaren “Styles” Terpack founded Nia Fia with the primary goal of making life easier for new mothers. In line with the major objective of the Miami resident and multimedia artist, she recently launched a back to school guide for children and their parents, telling the story of multiple children starting the school year with new ways of operating.
“Nia Fia communicates messages of positivity and power for mothers and their children through art and fashion. Corona Elementary is my attempt to help us parent peacefully during the reopening of schools,” said Kaaren “Styles” Terpack.
The COVID-19 pandemic has continued to affect the daily routines for people of all ages. Governments across the globe have put in place COVID-19 safety protocols to curb the spread of the virus, especially as economies are beginning to open up. The pandemic has affected schooling with educational institutions coming up with ways of ensuring the safety of kids without compromising the quality of education. Consequently, it has become imperative to prepare children for the “new normal” and make them know that they are not alone on this one, which is what Kaaren Terpack aims to achieve with the release of “Corona Elementary.”
The coloring book talks about contemporary topics like wearing a mask, homeschooling, and having plastic-covered desks that look like rocket ships. In addition to helping families feel like their “weird experiences” are happening all over and they are not alone, the book doubles as an opportunity to bring out the creativity in children.

Available in English and Spanish, “Corona Elementary” includes discussion questions and positive affirmations on top of being an opportunity for creativity. The content of the book has also been made into a rap song, free to download, and features a fun lyrics video to sing along with. The interactive coloring book is the ideal transition guide for children as they embrace the new normal ushered in by the COVID-19 pandemic.
