Socially conscious bath and body company, EveryBody by Dutton Farm is putting down roots this October at 64 1/2 North Saginaw St. Pontiac, MI with the opening of a new production and retail storefront with the help of McLaren Oakland who offered the space to EveryBody. McLaren generously offered a $1 a year lease for 3 years. In conjunction with the celebration of awareness for National Disability Employment Month our Grand Opening will begin at 10:00 am on October 16th, With confirmed attendance and remarks from Oakland County Executive Dave Coulter, Pontiac Mayor Deidre Waterman, and McLaren Oakland CEO Margaret Dimond.
“We are so proud of the model we have built with Everybody by Dutton Farm that sells natural and high-quality beauty products while creating opportunities for people with disabilities to work in an inclusive and fair wage work environment. We have created over 1,400 hours this year for adults with disabilities. We hope to foster a new lens for consumers that will continue to grow our mission of Beauty in Diversity and Strength in Inclusion,” said Jenny Brown CEO at EveryBody by Dutton Farm.
Already this year EveryBody has hired 3 new employees and has maintained a 1:1 ratio of Neuro-Typical to Disabled persons employed. EveryBody also became a USA Certified Social Enterprise. Vinessa an online customer had this to say about their Hand Sanitizer “I work at a hospital and the hand sanitizers wreak havoc on our hands. But as I and my coworkers tried this product we were immediately impressed. It’s much gentler and has an awesome aroma of eucalyptus that also soothes the senses.”
