The Paint It Forward project is one that is designed to give deserving members of the community a free painting service. Having handled three projects successfully in the past, Home Works Painting is proud to announce the completion of its fourth project.
The recently completed Paint It Forward Project was for two boys in Burke, VA. The oldest, Toa, is in remission from leukemia. Toa, an 11-year-old boy worked closely with the team as they selected a favorite color, navy blue, which his room was painted in. As part of the project, the beneficiary also enjoyed a new gaming system that was installed for entertainment purposes. To add accent to the newly painted room, the team at Home Works Painting added LED light strips on the walls and installed other accessories including 4 TVs, New bed and desk, as well as a cat perch on the wall.
As part of the fourth phase of the Paint It Forward Project, Home Works Painting also delivered a princely experience to 6-year-old Vasa, a very active child. Vasa’s room got a redefined look as the team worked closely with him to select the best colors, blue and green, which gives an outdoor feeling. To accentuate the new colors, Pikachu stickers were applied on the wall and a new treehouse bed was installed for a dreamy night rest. Vasa also got rock climbing pegs so he could climb the walls. The Home Works Painting team also cut open a hole in the adjoining closets for both brothers to make a “secret passageway” to get into each other’s rooms.
11-year-old Toa and 6-year-old Vasa are appreciative of the efforts put in by the painting company in Reston. VA to spice up their personal space.
