A Disability Inclusion Expert and a Multicultural Marketing Expert Explore Issues, Insights, and Intersectionality of People with Disabilities on the New "Disabled Lives Matter" Podcast

Host, Nadine O. Vogel, the leading expert on mainstreaming disability in the global workforce, workplace, and marketplace, and Co-host, Norma Stanley, a leading marketing professional specializing in multicultural marketing, will join forces as mothers of adult daughters with disabilities, to address the disability community’s issues of intersectionality with other communities and other topics, including race, gender orientation, military status, etc.

Highland Beach, FL – February 12, 2021 – “Disabled Lives Matter,” a new podcast focusing on the many facets of the world’s vast disability population, will begin broadcasting on March 4th in recognition of National Disability Awareness Month, and can be heard weekly on Thursday nights at 8:00 PM ET on Podbean (www.disabledlivesmatter.podbean.com), and where other podcasts are heard.

Host, Nadine O. Vogel, the leading expert on mainstreaming disability in the global workforce, workplace, and marketplace, and Co-host, Norma Stanley, a leading marketing professional specializing in multicultural marketing, will join forces as mothers of adult daughters with disabilities,  to address the disability community’s issues of intersectionality with other communities and other topics, including race, sexual orientation, military status, etc.

Vogel and Stanley say, “Disabled Lives Matter is more than just a podcast; it’s a global movement. Despite being the largest minority population in the world, comprised of over 61 million people with $500 billion in disposable income in the U.S. alone,  we believe the significance, needs and viability of the disability community do not get the level of attention it deserves.”  The podcast is produced by Springboard Productions, a Springboard Global Enterprises company, where Vogel is the CEO.

“Our goal with the Disabled Lives Matter podcast, is to help keep the community and its issues on the leading edge of national and international discourse,” Vogel said.

Stanley, a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion consultant and founder/CEO of E.E.E. Marketing Group, a multicultural marketing communications firm, concurs that “Disabled Lives Matter” will begin as a podcast, but will grow to a global movement.  Having much in common, Stanley and Vogel decided to collaborate on the Podcast.

What you should look forward to… The “Disabled Lives Matter” Podcast will include interviews with individuals, community leaders, celebrities, and others who have disabilities or connections to the disability community, to hear not only about the challenges they face, but also how they positively contribute and impact society in business, politics, entertainment, healthcare and more providing information about policies, processes, and programming that enhance or hinder the quality of life for people with disabilities, as well as to correct rampant misinformation and bias.

Stanley says, “In light of recent events that continue to vividly display the inequities experienced by African-Americans, we must recognize that the challenges are even more heightened for African-Americans with disabilities.  As a result, a real focus and commitment by corporations on diversity, equity, and inclusion as it relates to both communities has never been more important. The Disabled Lives Matter” podcast will serve as a guide for all listeners to learn how to become a force for change, treatment, portrayal, and value of persons with disabilities.”
