Kronos Foundation Donates Air Purifiers to Underfunded Schools across the U.S.

The need for air purifiers in classrooms increases as the country prepares for schools to reopen.

Kronos Foundation is a non-profit organization to help deliver clean air to schools and students. As serious talks about reopening schools have been actively discussed in the White House for the past months, the reality of holding offline classes in classrooms once again is slowly manifesting.

Schools reopening in the U.S. during an ongoing pandemic need to adhere to the health and safety guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and one of them is having clean and disinfected classrooms. It’s true that disinfecting walls, floors, tables and chairs is a great way to start, but it is not enough to assure parents that their children won’t be exposed to infected air.

This is where air purifiers become useful as they target harmful particles in the air — like the COVID-19 virus — and eliminate them. However, some schools can’t afford new, top-quality air filtration and purification systems for their students. As every student deserves to breathe clean and safe air, Kronos Foundation, together with the support of concerned individuals, makes every effort to deliver their cutting-edge air purifiers to underfunded schools.

The organization has a dedicated field on its website where people who want to help can nominate a school that needs donations of free Kronos Air 5G Model 5 Air Purifiers. These purifiers carefully wipe out dust, smoke, dander, bacteria, pollen, viruses, odors, germs and more from the air — giving students the healthiest breathable air possible. They kill the COVID-19 virus in 30 seconds, and they are filter less. HEPA filters are expensive to replace and not a cost-effective option for schools that are already underfunded.

Individuals who are passionate about helping out these schools are more than welcome to send their donations. Through this collective effort, Kronos Foundation will be able to put eco-friendly and cost-effective air purifiers and PPE to underfunded schools across the United States.

“I have received the generous donation of the Kronos Air Purifier. We are ecstatic to be able to put this product in our space. We have almost 500 students that attend weekly classes in the library, which has no windows to ventilate, and the doors we have cannot be propped open. Clean air is a major concern for us. This device will allow us to clean our air and reduce student and staff anxiety during this time of uncertainty. We are extremely grateful for your donation to us,” stated by a librarian in one of Kronos Foundation’s beneficiary schools.

Kronos Foundation’s mission is to be able to ensure that every child has the same chance at learning in a safe and clean environment that helps promote their growth and health.
