Two jigsaw puzzle lovers from Australia were fed up with the lack of innovation in the jigsaw puzzle industry. Jake and Tim saw the gap in the market and started to do research. 12 months later, Puzzli was born.
The boys worked with manufacturers worldwide to find the perfect quality and design work and launched Puzzli to the Australian and New Zealand markets. The puzzles are made in the shape of beautiful animals and they don’t have your standard puzzle pieces. The shapes of the pieces are unique with majority of them in the shape of animals. They started with 12 designs and are about to release 10 more in the coming weeks.
With over 2,000 puzzles sold in the first 8 weeks, the boys are working quickly to keep innovating. “The feedback has been unreal. We knew there was a market, but we never expected it to blow up as quick as it has” said Jake. Tim shared some of the testimonials and messages that they have received, such as “My kids absolutely love these, it is keeping them busy throughout lockdown” and “finally a puzzle that challenges me, will definitely be buying more”.
The local Australian duo have big plans for 2021 and said they won’t be stopping here, with the hint of a “3D Puzzle” that might be coming in the near future. We are excited to see what is to come.
