Iraq Veteran Turned Rapper – Salute – Tackles Mental Health/Substance Abuse On New Release “Triggered”

Atlanta, GA – June 26, 2019 – Coming off the recent success of Plantation Mentality Remix (feat Bigga Rankin and Scarface), with the original music video gaining over 20k views on Youtube, Salute (a US Army veteran who served in Iraq) has returned with a new single titled  “Triggered”. On this latest release Salute teams up with singer/actor Sean Baker, (Shaft, All American, BET Tales) who delivers soulful vocals over a melodic track.

“Triggered” addresses the everyday struggles people go through, and challenges the listener to think about the way things are in our society currently. Salute describes his music as “Mental Health Music”.  “My music is made to invoke an emotional response, and get you to see things in a different perspective.  At the same time, the music is also meant to inspire people to move forward, and never give up on your dreams,” said Salute.

The music video  accompanies the release of the audio single, where Salute provides counsel to people dealing with the pressures of their lives.  It’s a very powerful visual, relaying a message of hope through mutual support. Watch “Triggered” on YouTube Listen to “Triggered:
