Simfoni Named an “Employer of the Year” by 2022 Stevie Awards Greatest Employers

Simfoni wins gold Stevie Award in Employer of the Year category for cultivating a culture of connectivity, collaboration, and inclusion across a globally distributed workforce, and implementing initiatives to break gender imbalance trends in tech industry.

Simfoni is thrilled to announce it has been named the winner of the Gold Stevie® Award in the Employer of the Year category in the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers honors the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals that build inspiring places to work. Nominated in the Employer of the Year category, Simfoni was selected amidst 950+ nominations from organizations of all sizes and in 26 nations that were submitted for consideration in a wide range of categories. Judges praised Simfoni for implementing bold initiatives to foster meaningful employee engagement, career advancement opportunities, work/life balance, and an inclusive approach to supporting and celebrating diversity. “Simfoni, with its claims of inclusion, diversity, and the impressive male to female workforce ratio, merits bold thinking and leading by example. Their value and respect for cultural diversity is another key point that merits this award,” commented one judge.

That starts with leaders being curious about the individuals they are leading and creating a welcoming and inclusive culture through curiosity and empathy,” said Chrisna Vergottini-Mason, Chief People Officer at Simfoni. 

Over the past year, Simfoni has implemented several initiatives to distinguish itself as a best-in-class employer, including a ‘Future Fit Leaders’ program for career training and advancement, quarterly performance reviews, and an ‘Anytime, Anywhere’ policy, which embraces remote work opportunities and company shutdowns to prevent employee burnout.

More than 100 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners. Winners in the Employer of the Year categories were determined by a unique blending of the ratings of the professional judges and more than 80,000 public votes. The public vote was sponsored by HiBob.

Winners of the awards, named the Stevies from the Greek word meaning “crowned,” will be recognized during a gala awards dinner on Saturday, September 17 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
