Hamza Laalioui is an enterprising Entrepreneur, Real estate guru, and Founder and Head of Operations at Prestij Consulting, a global network that delivers premium luxury realty services to clients worldwide.

Native to Morocco, Hamza moved to Istanbul, where he’s redefining Turkey’s real estate ecosystem. He has a profound vision of making the Middle Eastern country a hub for luxury and a liaison between the finest independent construction companies in the country and the most prestigious clients worldwide.

However, before making it big in entrepreneurship, it’s pertinent to note that Hamza’s career in luxury real estate was a case of making the most of one’s opportunity. With a civil engineering background, Hamza revealed he didn’t have the innate satisfaction one should have in his field. The chance of working in real estate was presented to him by a good classmate. After initially refusing, he accepted the job as a placeholder for an opportunity for a master degree with a university in Luxembourg.

It was love at first sight for Hamza and real estate. Meeting different clients daily, networking, and trying to provide the best buying experience to his clients. He finally found joy in his craft. “I am entitled to help people. For me, it’s not just profit. It’s humanity. It’s the hospitality. We try to provide the best service as much as we can within all the needs of our clients. That results in trust, customer loyalty, and free referrals”, he said.

However, like every other venture in a foreign land, Hamza had to contend with some bottlenecks, chief among which was the language barrier. Coming from a multilingual country like Morocco, Hamza found it particularly challenging to grasp the Turkish language.

Today, he has overcome that challenge and is fully committed to providing his esteemed clients with the best real estate services. Hamza brought to Turkey the traditional, heartwarming hospitality that differentiates Moroccans from the rest. “I do my best to implement that hospitality that we were raised in into the real estate market. We really love to help and take care of our guests. Merging hospitality and selling properties gives you a lot of value compared to other agencies that only care to fill their pockets”, he said.

A fusion of that hospitality and impeccable services has seen Hamza manage some impressive projects, including three luxury projects in Istanbul with portfolios exceeding 2.6 billion. “That project was one of the biggest achievements in my life. It’s not just because it was profitable, but only because it made me meet a lot of big buyers from different backgrounds. For me, developing a big network in different sectors is more important than anything else”.

Hamza is not resting on his laurels yet. His company, Prestij Consulting, is conducting its expansion research to see if it can emerge in other markets and countries. Hamza showed incredible entrepreneurial acumen to diversify his company’s portfolio. Today, Hamza Laalioui has spread his tentacles to other sectors, including education, marketing, and e-commerce.

Away from entrepreneurship, Hamza is also a gifted musician and pianist who has held concerts in Morocco and Turkey. He loves to entertain, empower, and educate. “I have been in the music industry for almost 15 years now, I studied in the national conservatory of Rabat music theory and piano for 5 years.”

Hamza is no longer active in the music industry for the past 4-5 years to focus more on his entrepreneurial vision. Besides music, he’s a food lover. “I enjoy discovering good restaurants every time I have the chance. But the majority of the time, I am networking. I enjoy meeting new faces every day. Networking is a game changer for real estate agents,” he said.

Hamza knows the ins and outs of Turkey’s luxury real estate market and has learned some valuable lessons. “Don’t expect a lot. Sometimes, you overwork a lot for some deals, and in the end, it never happens. Especially when we talk big numbers. Sometimes we get greedy and we do anything to make that deal happen, but it doesn’t, and it breaks our hearts. That is why we should lower our expectations. Yes, we do our best to make sales, but it shouldn’t be the only thing,” he remarked.
