From Casablanca, Morocco to Tripoli, Libya to Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Istanbul, Turkey, OneFriends has clearly been expanding its user and supporter base in the past week.
The OneFriends iPhone app has been trending during the week across many MENA countries, ranking as high as Number 3 on the App Store Charts within the Lifestyle category of apps.
The CEO of OneFriends, Albert Jing was also pleased and commented, “I’m happy with this progress in our company’s journey and thankful for the support of our new users. The idea of true friendships, which is what OneFriends stands for, is a timeless and beautiful concept that probably touches something deep within all of us as humans. Our goal was always to serve all people regardless of their race, age, beliefs, geography, so it’s great to see that come to fruition even further this week.”
The OneFriends app given its focus on privacy and collecting minimal user data, appears to also be striking a chord with people who are conscious of their personal data being misused by technology companies.
In terms of features, OneFriends has a focus on letting users meet up with their friends in-person through easy event organization functions. The company says while the app has messaging functions too, that is only designed to support the main event and get-together features. The app has a sophisticated but also very clean design and visual appearance.
In what many now regard as the post-pandemic world, and increasing disillusionment with social media and lack of genuine connection with friends, OneFriends is likely well positioned for even further growth.
