Serving the Peace is establishing a relationship with streaming TV and film network Cineverse. The Flicker’s festival award-winning production group has signed an agreement with the distribution network to upgrade from TVOD to all forms of streaming OTT access.
The deal comes in the fourth year of Serving the Peace’s Praise the Maker on Cineverse’s Christian Cinema channel where the animation was previously only available in TVOD. Praise the Maker has five wins and two nominations including the CIFF nomination for best animation. Now, the film will be available on SVOD, AVOD, and FAST as well as accessible on other network family-friendly channels such as The Dove Channel.
Serving the Peace Entertainment currently develops and produces animated content through its PTtheGospelSpitter Animation Project line under its EdifyingAnimation brand, targeting kids and family, YA, and adult audiences. Live action content is produced as Serving the Peace Entertainment under its Edifying Entertainment brand.
Cineverse’s Director of Content Acquisitions, Selin Kilic, and Thomas E. Stokes III, Serving the Peace’s Business Manager, oversaw the deal with Doug Weiss, Channel Manager Christian Cinema, and Yolanda Macias, Chief Content Officer Cineverse brokering.
Serving the Peace’s credits in addition to Praise the Maker include acclaimed comedy-drama SfTK (Service for The King) The Movie (Apple TV), Salvation RMX (BET Jams), and Sweet Auburn: Praise the Maker Title Soundtrack Live (Ditto).
