Now On Kickstarter, “I’m Just Trying To L.I.V.E,” An Autobiography Showing The Power Of Perseverance And Hope

Now seeking community support via Kickstarter, an autobiography of Malika Williams, a young woman who grew up in foster care on Detroit’s rough streets.

Malika Williams, a 31-year-old mother of four passionate about making a difference within her community, has announced a new crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for her tell-all autobiography, “I’m Just Trying To L.I.V.E.” The founder of L.I.V.E Outreach, a non-profit organization on a mission to refresh, renew, and revive by providing assistance with housing, financial support, career development, and life skills training to youth within the foster care community, Williams’ exclusive autobiography paints a vivid picture of her life growing up in Detroit, and the many experiences that motivated her to begin L.I.V.E Outreach.

Recently completing the autobiography, readers worldwide will soon be able to experience William’s empowering story. From growing up in the foster care system to experiencing mental and physical abuses and witnessing a murder as a teenager, “I’m Just Trying To L.I.V.E” chronicles Williams’ life, including her time as a runaway at age 14, pregnant mother at age 15, and charged felony just two years later. Ultimately discovering how to overcome a rough start to turn a negative situation into a positive and fulfilling life, Williams shows people of all ages, backgrounds, and faiths that it is not how one starts the race– but how they finish it that matters most – through personal stories, anecdotes, and experiences.

Since overcoming her youth and young adult traumas, Williams has been engaging other young teens across Detroit and beyond. Excited to share her story in “I’m Just Trying To L.I.V.E,” a new demonstration of the power of perseverance, hope, and triumph is just around the corner.
