Ad Antic Reveals The Counter, a Red Dot Award-Winning, Car-Inspired Bracelet

The company announces details about their bracelet, the Red Dot award, and their launch on Kickstarter.

April 30, 2021 – Ad Antic, a product design company, is set to release a new type of bracelet inspired by iconic cars and the driving experience. The launch will go live on Kickstarter in May 2021.

Jinsop Lee, an industrial designer featured on TED, Netflix, and the Discovery Channel, founded Ad Antic in 2018. Throughout the development of its first product, Ad Antic referenced Swiss watches because of their durability and quality. As for the design, they looked to iconic cars for inspiration and took the best elements to design The Counter. Ad Antic wanted to design a bracelet that evoked the most crucial component of the driving experience: the tachometer. The Counter takes its name from the “rev counter.”

The Counter’s manufacturing process uses the same materials and techniques used in watchmaking. Components are precisely machined to exact tolerances, then hand-finished and assembled in Seoul, South Korea. Ad Antic’s manufacturer’s clients include global companies such as Google, Amazon, Samsung, and Hewlett Packard.

This past March, The Counter was awarded the Red Dot Design Award. The Red Dot is a prestigious international design award with a 60-year history. It is most commonly known as an award for products such as cars and smartphones.

Designed for all-day comfort, The Counter will be available in three sizes: medium, large, and X-large. It will be available for pre-order on Kickstarter for $150, a 40% discount from its original price. For more information and special offers prior to its launch date visit www.adanticdesign.com.
