Palm Springs, CA, USA – June 8, 2021 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 3rd Annual Lines, Shapes & Objects International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.
For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography depicting lines, shapes & objects. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their representational and/or abstract work in any media.
The 3rd Annual Lines, Shapes & Objects Best in Show winners are Chery Pruys for her acrylic, “Unhinged”, Alec Hughes for his photograph, “Between Light and Darkness #14” and Oleg Lobykin for his bronze, “Pixel”. Cher, Alec and Oleg are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of June 2021 and, as the Best in Show winners, all three artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, California in 2022.
Other award winners include Second Place winners, Lisa Daniels, Tim McEnerney and M.A. Bailey. Third Place awards were given to Andrew Lincoln Nelson, Yongil Lee and T Barny. Fourth Place awards were given to Linda McCord, Mike Rozmarin and Jacki Cohen. Fifth Place awards were given to Eric Moore, Patricia Fortlage and Sidney Miraz.
Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are eighteen Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Jose Luis Quinones, Sanja Družetic, Conni Jo Hardie, Alison Kelly, Susan Price and Krista Oremus.
Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Barbara Klimczak, Y. Hope Osborn, Anand Swaroop Manchiraju, John H Diephouse, Garret Demarest and David A. Kosar.
Honorable Mention awards in the 3-Dimensional category were given to Helen Wexler, El Yesha Puplampu, Steven Iseman, Antonieta Martinho, Brian Mark and Irene Sirko.
The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.
The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, India, Croatia, Ghana, Hong Kong, Latvia, Portugal, Lithuania, the Philippines, Poland, Qater, Russia, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey and South Africa. Overall, the gallery judged 485 entries and accepted 164 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for the month of June.
Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.
Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions.
