Elizabeth Gagnon Is Set to the Leadership Experience Tour with Shawn Fair

As a motivational speaker, business coach, and charity events host, Elizabeth Gagnon wants to reach as many people as possible and inspire them to do better and serve their communities. She has been successfully doing that with Miss Liz’s Tea Parties. But recently, she has been given the opportunity to reach a wider audience through Shawn Fair’s Leadership Experience Tour.

With Elizabeth Gagnon’s participation in the Leadership Experience Tour, she gets to speak at an exclusive event, sharing her experiences and inspiring other budding motivation speakers and life coaches.

Elizabeth Gagnon is a published international best-selling co-author, a highly sought-after keynote speaker and founder of Miss Liz Teatime and Parties. Her Teatime events are the unique way she brings awareness to various organizations, projects, or advocacies that could benefit from additional financial assistance. “During Teatime with Miss Liz, I help people realize that change can happen one cup of tea at a time. During these events, guests are in a more relaxed and inviting atmosphere, which fosters a more open mind in listening to the stories of the invited speakers as the guests sip their tea. They are introduced to a cause that needs their support, a cause which can help different underserved sectors in the community,” Elizabeth shared.

Since the first of these events back in 2015, Elizabeth Gagnon has raised over $5,000 for Women’s Transition Houses, Sexual Abuse Services, Bereaved Families Services and many other organizations close to her heart. Her desire to help these organizations comes from a painful personal experience. Elizabeth is a survivor of extreme abuse and gut-wrenching grief. These organizations were able to help her and many others like her, and because of that, Elizabeth does what she can to repay their kindness and support their causes.

Aside from her work with various organizations, Elizabeth Gagnon is a member of the Community Action Network Against Abuse and was heavily involved with Bereaved Families of Cornwall Ontario.

Elizabeth Gagnon also began mentoring abuse survivors who were venturing into their first businesses. “This is a huge step forward, and I would know since I have lived that life. I want to help others let go of limiting beliefs and doubt. I want them to know that anything is possible if they set their mind to it, and when they find the support they need,” she said. Elizabeth was awarded “The Small Businessperson of the Year” in 2018 for Cornwall, Ontario, and is also a nominee for the same award in 2020.

“After going through what I did and being able to move forward, I found a passion for making a difference. Being a mentor for people with similar experiences felt right to me because I know I can help them through it,” said Elizabeth Gagnon. In her mentoring sessions and Teatime events, she introduces her TEA theory, Teaching Educational Awareness. She shared, “The past always has something to teach us. I guide others to look for insights into their past and see how those can be applied to the present. These lessons combined with the awareness that our life can change at any given moment is how we can prepare for the future.”
