Guidepoint Systems Strengthens Commitment To Fleet And OEM Markets With Addition Of Two Veteran Industry Executives

DETROIT, Mich. – August 27, 2021 – Guidepoint Systems, a global provider of vehicle telematics and Software as a Service (SaaS) for automotive OEMs, new and pre-owned vehicle dealerships, rental agencies and commercial fleet managers, has added two industry veterans to its executive management team.

Monirul Talukder, is the new vice president of global strategy, focusing on Automotive and Internet of Things (IoT). Alex Gajano is the new vice president of business development of Automotive and IoT and will serve as general manager of the company’s Latin America and European operations.

Mr. Talukder joined the firm in April. He previously has served in a number of executive leadership positions including as president of Quantum Design Services, as senior advisor for Mahindra Automotive North America and Renesas Electronics America, and as a senior director for Jabil.

Mr. Gajano previously served as general manager of business development for the Americas Region at SIMCom Wireless Solutions. He has also held several other business development positions including director of sales for telematics solutions at DataRemote, Inc., vice president of operations and director of sales for Skypatrol, and director of business development for KORE Systems Group.
