Bella Luce Fine Art Portraits Helps Develop a Sense of Self-Confidence and Belonging in Children

Their goal is to change the lives of children in Alaska in a positive way.

Bella Luce Fine Art Portraits has been providing the incredible service of fine art family portraits to Alaskan families for three years. The work they do has a significant impact on the way children see themselves, and studies have shown that when children see themselves in a family portrait, they have a greater sense of self-worth.

Founders Sean and Amanda Kurdziolek have always been fascinated by what a camera can accomplish for a family as it immortalizes fleeting moments. They place great value on family.

“Our work, when appropriately displayed on the family wall, is a non-verbal way of communicating to our children that they are the most important thing in our lives. It gives our children a feeling of belonging. It helps them see themselves as a part of a family unit that will always love and support them,” shared Sean and Amanda.

Sean spent 20 years in the United States Air Force and met Amanda during a trip to South Korea. They have since traveled the world, introducing the world to three adventurous and vibrant children.

Capturing their travels and the developing stages of their children’s life became paramount to them, and they witnessed firsthand how important it was for their children to see themselves remembered.

That realization made them take their passion for portraiture and spread it throughout Alaska. Today, they provide an opportunity for families the globe over to remember who they are.
