Philan aims to release its DAO on six networks that have the community in mind. The DAO is driven by a community LP and has some intriguing utilities with a big vision. Philan’s DAO aims to provide humanity with a tool that will allow them to help humanity without the need for other entities to get involved.
Philan aims to do this by allowing those with $PHILAN to donate their $PHILAN to vetted charities through their Charity DAPP or place a vote using $PHILAN as to which Charity should receive a lumpsum donation from Philan’s Charity wallet. Furthermore, Philan inspires investors to become Authors. Authors have the ability to send a philanthropic project of their own. Bookkeepers review the proposal and its legitimacy, and if all the checks are passed, it is then presented to the community to receive donations. To become an Author, the person must first provide a KYC, pass a background check, and interview.
Philan’s central concept to keep everything decentralised and keeping its community-driven is by utilising a community liquidity pool (LP). People are encouraged to contribute to the community LP and receive a share of the pool. The LP tokens received via contributing to the community LP can then be staked through their staking DAPP to receive $PHILAN. Philan’s first launch has been on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and their subsequent launches will be:
