From Skincare Enthusiast to Owner of a Rapidly-Growing Brand, the Story of Skintrist

Skintrist is an American skincare company specializing in manufacturing and retailing premium-quality products made from natural, sustainable ingredients.

According to data sourced from the American Academy of Dermatology, Acne is the most common skin condition in the United States, affecting up to 50 million Americans annually. It is estimated that approximately 85% of people between the ages of 12 and 24 experience at least minor acne. 

Skintrist’s fonder was among that 85%, experiencing intense acne as a teenager while expecting this issue to be resolved by the time she became an adult. As a teen, Skintrist’s founder had frequently visited a dermatologist for seven years. From chemical peels to laser treatments, she had learned everything she could about the process and products that her dermatologist had used. 

One of the biggest revelations in her life was realizing that not every product available works as advertised. Realizing this as a teen, Skintrist’s founder turned to fitness. 

Feeling disassociated is among the common problems for people who are struggling with acne-related issues. Skintrist’s founder felt that on a deeper level, as no one in her family had experienced acne before. The soon-to-be founder of one of America’s fastest-growing skincare brands was then propelled to create an efficient solution to her acne problems.


This series of events has led to the launch of Skintrist – a skincare line of premium products that boast unparalleled efficiency. 

The founder of Skintrist did not make such a huge decision overnight. She spent four years collaborating with local dermatologists, working on a host of different formulas that could cater to the needs of people with sensitive and post-procedure skin. 

According to her, medical-grade ingredients were too strong while purely natural ones were not potent enough. Skintrist’s founder felt it was important to know what kind of treatments patients were coming in for so that she would know what type of after-care treatment to provide in response.

Skintrist released its first product in the September of 2020. A fragrance-free Vitamin C serum based on a lightweight formula, which was engineered with small molecules, which could penetrate deeper into the skin, was Skintrist’s debut product. 

Currently, Skintrist’s founder is collaborating with two professional chemists on a task to review the ingredient list and decide the trajectory that her brand should head toward next. 

The bulk of the latest Skintrist-line products features niacinamide components. This immunity booster is beloved by many for its numerous health benefits, such as oil regulation, the reduction of pore appearance, the reduction of blotchiness & redness, and more.


The latest product that was released by Skintrist is the Pro Skin Renewal Mist, which was introduced to the brand’s catalog in the April of 2022. Featuring a variety of natural vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, and tree oil, this product is ideal for oily skin types and is capable of reducing face-based oil production by a whopping 40%. 

Skintrist’s founder has imparted that she plans to continue working with dermatologists, nutritionists, and industry leaders to “bridge the gap between medical and natural effective after-care.”

The company has announced that Noni Facial Oil, a face-hydrating product for acne-prone skin, is being worked on and is planned for release later this year.
