New Eco-Friendly Product Launches at AmericasMart, Offers Improved Ways to Grow Plants Bigger and Faster without Fertilizers and Chemicals

Grow Rock, a device designed to make plants grow faster and larger without using chemicals or fertilizer, launches at AmericasMart in Atlanta, heralding a revolution on how people care for the plants in their homes.

Grow Rock debuted at the annual Winter Market Week, January 10-16, at the AmericasMart in Atlanta, Georgia, which draws over 75,000 retailers from across the United States – the largest retailer event in the US each year. The product is the brainchild of Steve McCaslin. Although his hometown in Kansas is small, the impact of his invention will be felt across the country.

The Grow Rock device uses centuries-old science called electro culture in a never-before-seen format updated with modern technology. Since the 18th century, scientists have known that microcurrents of electricity make plants grow faster.  What McCaslin has done is take a 200-year-old science and make it applicable for houseplants and the home.

Grow Rock is self-contained, easy-to-use, and user-friendly. It stimulates the roots to absorb higher levels of moisture and nutrients. The results are increased foliage, buds, flowers, and strength.

“Retailers were thrilled to see a new product that aligns with customer trends in clean, green, eco-friendly home gardening,” said McCaslin’s daughter Janea Early, who presented the product to retailers.  The response from retailers was immediate and dramatic. Orders were three times more than the projections of Steve McCaslin’s and his daughter. “I am the happiest man in the world,” said McCaslin.

Grow Rock is available in four stylish designs resembling popular Zen inspiration stones with a variation of inspirational words like Grow, Love, Hope, and Joy. Home gardeners will be happy to know it works particularly well on arrowhead plants, philodendron, monstera, anthurium, croton, tomatoes, peppers, etc.

McCaslin was guided in the design and development of Grow Rock as part of Product Development Academy, an incubator and education program that has produced multiple award-winning and profitable consumer product companies in the US and Australia.
