The ‘Ride the Suigami’ voting event held by Cubic Games concluded with great success on July 9. ‘Suigami’ lets users vote for their favorite GameFi projects and therefore boosts these projects. In the end, Legend of Arcadia, Abyss World and TownStory Galaxy stood out in the voting event, ranking No.1, 2 and 3 respectively.
Apart from the top 3 games, 8 other GameFi projects were listed in ‘Suigami’, including CoinArcade, Final Stardust: Cosmic Nexus, Zero Manor, Arena of Faith, Camelot Guardian, VMeta3, Mirror World.
The Suigami event was officially launched on June 19th and concluded on July 9th, going through 3 stages: Whitelist distribution, Suigami Tickets minting, and voting for games.
In the Whitelist distribution period, 38 communities of on-chain projects together with communities of Cubic and of the 11 GameFi projects joined the event and shared the whitelist spots. Then, in the minting period, 4,245 users minted 21,016 Suigami Tickets in total. After that, 19,451 Suigami Tickets were used for voting.
To reward participants, Cubic prepared 1600 $SUI in total for voters of the Top 3 GameFi projects, and 400 $SUI lucky draw prize for all the voters. Besides, there are over 500 sites of rewards provided by the 11 listed gameFi projects.
‘Suigami’ was the first step of Cubic’s long-term plan–the ‘Community-Driven Governance System’. This system allows communities to share the decision-making power with Cubic in various events. And the ‘Suigami’ event serves as a template for voting events on Cubic platform. By holding more voting and other events in the future, Cubic will hopefully launch platform token and VeToken (used for voting on Cubic) to better facilitate a fully autonomous gaming platform.
