Phyllis Elin, CEO of Knowledge Preservation, was recently selected as Top CEO of the Year in Knowledge Preservation by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.

Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself; only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. With more than three decades of senior leadership in the industry, Phyllis Elin has proven her extraordinary abilities by spearheading project management and consulting assignments for numerous, diverse clients including institutions and organizations operating within higher education, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and public sector services. She has repeatedly been recognized by her industry as a highly sought-after practitioner in the field of Information Governance.

 Phyllis Elin’s expertise encompasses a broad range of areas and disciplines including active file management integration, records retention schedule development, policy and procedures manual creation and amendment, technology solution consulting, facilities management, data hoteling and telecommuting initiatives, records center administration services, the management of vital and archival records, vendor evaluation, the formulation of RFI’s and RFP’s, and the creation or reformulation of marketing programs, staff training, and in-house seminars.

Before embarking on her professional career path, she earned her Master’s Degree from Seton Hall University and completed her undergraduate studies at NYU.

Phyllis Elin has received many awards and accolades throughout her years of service in the industry and has been recognized worldwide for her accomplishments.

In addition to her successful career, Phyllis Elin has delivered instructional sessions on Library, Records, and Information Governance at esteemed academic institutions such as Simmons College and Suffolk University. She has also shared her expertise with professional organizations like the American Management Association, the Boston Computer Society, and the Association of Legal Administrators. Furthermore, Phyllis has contributed to the knowledge-sharing efforts of ARMA International and several local ARMA chapter events. Additionally, she has delivered presentations at the ARMA International Conferences and has previously served as President of an ARMA branch.

Recently, Phyllis Elin published 3 recent books by the Business Expert Press in her field of Information Governance. The first 2 have been released, and the third is scheduled for release this December.

She is also a past Chairperson of the Board Governance Committee of the New Jersey Sharing Network Foundation, a non-profit organ and tissue donation organization.
